Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to form images of the inside of the human body. There is no radiation with ultrasound imaging. As the sound passes through the body, it bounces back to the ultrasound machine from internal structures like organs, blood vessels, soft tissue and these signals are used to form an image. Ultrasound imaging is done in real-time and can be watched on the display. Ultrasound has been used for decades and is considered a very safe imaging modality.
We use a technique called thermocoagulation. Using a very fine needle tip, we deliver a frequency at the end of a pin prick to the treatment area which causes the troubleseom capillaries to shut down.
We encourage all our clients to have a consultation with our Consultant Clinical Scientist to make sure our service offerings meet your needs and requirements. We charge £30 for a consultation which is deducted from the scan fee if a scan is justified and you consent to have a scan.
To make a booking, you can schedule a consultation on our website or you can call 0203 576 5096.
Our online booking form is a request to make an appointment. Our administrators will make sure there are no conflicting appointments with our Clinical Scientists.

The treatment only lasts a few minutes and is very well tolerated. There is very minor discomfort as a very fine needle is used but this is momentary. The treated area may go red for a few hours and the cherry angioma will turn into a tiny crust or scab but this will resolve within 1-2 weeks.
We charge a £30 consultation fee to discuss your scanning requirements with one of our Consultant Clinical Scientists. If you proceed to have an ultrasound scan, £30 is deductible from the cost of your ultrasound scan.
