Did you know there is no routine NHS screening programme for women to check for AAA? A ruptured aneurysm is often fatal and a family history of aneurysms is a strong indication to have an ultrasound scan. This silent killer can easily be found with a simple and quick ultrasound scan. We can check to make sure the size is within normal limits and that the blood flow is normal. Consultation charges with our Clinical Scientist are deducted from the cost of your scan, should a scan be necessary.
